1 Skimming and scanningDistracted driving
God saved my daughter from a terrible car accident. I was distracted texting and looked away from the road for “one quick second”. The car rolled three times before landing on its roof. I was shocked and ashamed at the same time. Fortunately, she survived with just scrapes and bruises. I learned a life lesson that day. Break up I’m worried about my best friend Jennifer. Yesterday, she was devastated. She was with a guy for almost five years, they had a lovely relationship and they had planned their life together. But he suddenly broke up with her. I don’t know what happened. Now she blames herself for the breakup because she feels like she isn’t the perfect girl anymore. Flood My grandparents were at home when the water came. It was 4 o’clock in the morning and it was raining heavily. By the time they were out of the house, the water was up to their chest. They were really scared. They managed to get to a tall tree they climbed. They were tired but they had to stay awake. When the water went down they asked for help. I’m very glad they’re alive. Trash on the streets Can you believe that there is a rat infestation in the local market? Last weekend, my little sister saw a dozen of them on the sidewalk along the market. She got scared and ran away. There is a foul smell coming from a bunch of garbage behind the market. This is a big problem for the neighborhood. The rats carry and spread many diseases. INSTRUCTIONS
