  2. Stepmother: Stepmothers are frequently depicted as evil, cruel, or jealous, perpetuating negative perceptions of stepmothers.
  3. Beautiful = Good, Ugly = Evil: Characters' physical appearance is linked to their moral character, reinforcing harmful beauty standards.
  4. Domestic Roles for Women: Women are often seen in traditional domestic roles like cooking, cleaning, and caring for children.
  5. Prince Charming: The idealized male character who saves the day, promoting stereotypes of masculinity.
  6. Queen: Queens are often portrayed as power-hungry and evil, perpetuating negative images of female rulers.
  7. True Love's Kiss: True love is often portrayed as the ultimate goal for women, emphasizing romantic relationships above all else.

Sample Dialogues Challenging Stereotypes:
  1. Role-play: Rescuing the Prince
Prince: "I'm in trouble, and I could use your help, Snow White. Can you assist me in defeating the dragon together?"
  2. Role-play: Empowering the Fairies
Fairy: "I am not just here to grant wishes. I am powerful in our own right. Let's show everyone what I can do."
  3. Role-play: Defying the Status Quo
Rapunzel's Prince: "I don't need to rescue you, Rapunzel. You're more than capable of saving yourself."
  4. Role-play: Breaking Stereotypical Expectations
Sleeping Beauty: "I don't need a prince to wake me up with a kiss. I'll wake up on my own and take control of my destiny."
  5. Role-play: Friendship Over Romance
Beauty: "I don't need a 'Beast' to change into a prince. I value our friendship more than anything. Let's break the spell as friends."

Example of the script:
Rapunzel's Prince (entering the scene): "Hey, Rapunzel, I'm here to help you get out of the tower." (smiles)
Rapunzel (excitedly): "Thank you, but I can do it myself!" (grabs her hair)
Rapunzel's Prince: "You're so brave, Rapunzel!" (encouragingly claps)
Rapunzel (determined): "I am! Let's climb down together." (starts descending)
Rapunzel's Prince (joins her): "You're right! We make a great team!" (follows her)
Rapunzel (on the ground, jubilant): "I'm free! This is so much fun!" (jumps and twirls)
Rapunzel's Prince (cheerful): "Yes, Rapunzel, you can do anything!" (spins around)
Rapunzel (excited): "Let's explore the world together!" (takes his hand)
Rapunzel's Prince (with enthusiasm): "Adventure time with Rapunzel!" (they walk offstage hand in hand)

The story of Rapunzel is believed to have originated from a French tale called "Persinette" in the 17th century. It was later popularized by the Brothers Grimm in their 1812 collection of fairy tales. Rapunzel's story is a reflection of the traditional and societal norms of the time, emphasizing themes of isolation and liberation. Rapunzel's character and captivity reflect historical notions of female obedience and confinement, prevalent during the 17th and 19th centuries.
